Matěj Chabera studied design and design theory at the Charles University in Prague and at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam.
After five years of experience working for various architecture, furniture and product design companies he opened his office in Prague in 2009.
He designs functional objects ranging from jewelry to accessories to furniture and lighting. His recent achievements include finalist in the Peroni Nastro Azzuro/Alessi Blue Ribbon Design Awards and scoring nominations for the CzechGrandDesign awards 2009 in the categories Designer of the year and Newcomer of the year.
